{"id":9641,"date":"2020-08-28T13:53:00","date_gmt":"2020-08-28T12:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.tireetrust.org.uk\/covid19\/?p=9641"},"modified":"2020-08-28T13:53:00","modified_gmt":"2020-08-28T12:53:00","slug":"self-employment-income-support-scheme-phase-two","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.tireetrust.org.uk\/covid19\/self-employment-income-support-scheme-phase-two\/","title":{"rendered":"Self-Employment Income Support Scheme phase two"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On&nbsp;Monday&nbsp;17<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;August 2020&nbsp;the Chancellor announced that&nbsp;applications for the&nbsp;government\u2019s Self-Employment Income Support Scheme&nbsp;(SSEISS)&nbsp;will be opened for the second&nbsp;round&nbsp;of the funding scheme&nbsp;previously&nbsp;announced&nbsp;in June.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Individuals will be able to claim&nbsp;a&nbsp;taxable grant worth 70% of their average monthly trading profits, paid out in a single instalment covering three months\u2019 worth of profits, and capped at \u00a36,570 in total.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The eligibility criteria&nbsp;remains&nbsp;the same as the first round of funding, and individuals will need to confirm that their business has been adversely affected by coronavirus.
