A Boil Notice was issued on Wednesday (October 7) to all properties on the island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was put in place on a precautionary basis after routine sampling from a service reservoir on the island identified that the water in the local network did not meet the usual microbiological standard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In consultation with NHS Highland\u2019s Public Health Team, customers are now being notified that it is safe for them to drink and use their water as normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more info please visit the Scottish Water Website<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Advice to boil drinking water on the island of Tiree has been lifted.
