The planned upgrade will allow them to take full advantage of their new Fibre Optic backhaul. It will also allow Tiree Broadband to offer a range of new services including an up to 30Mb<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7715 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.tireetrust.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Broadband--300x167.jpeg\" alt=\"Broadband\" width=\"393\" height=\"219\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.tireetrust.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Broadband--300x167.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/staging.tireetrust.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Broadband--1024x570.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/staging.tireetrust.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Broadband-.jpeg 1734w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 393px) 100vw, 393px\" \/>ps service to existing and new customers and it is hoped that work will commence in March 2017, taking around four months to complete.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><span class=\"\" style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><span class=\"\" style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Tiree also looks set to benefit from upgraded mobile phone coverage after EE submitted a planning application to erect a 4G mast near Garaphail, Cornaigmore.
